There are three easy ways to apply for a membership!
Download and complete the application:
1. Bring it to the credit union (with the required identification and the minimum share deposit of $5.00).
2. Mail it to the credit union (with the required identification and the minimum share deposit of $5.00). to:

3. Fax it to the credit union at: 570-961-5961. When faxing the application be sure to include your identification. The original signed application, identification and the minimum share deposit of $5.00 must be mailed to the address above.
The USA Patriot Act of 2001 requires Spojnia Credit Union to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities. Because of this federal mandate, we must obtain identifying information from you and verify the authenticity of that information before you can open a new account with us.
When you open a new account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask that you supply us with two forms of identification. At least one form must be a valid government issued picture form of identification and the other can be a non-photograph form of identification. We will accept identification from the following list:
Valid (current) Government Issued ID or Driver’s License
- Government Issued Social Security Card
- Employer ID Card
- Student ID Card
- Passport
- Other National ID Document (Military ID, Voter’s Registration Card, Alien Registration, US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Card, Native American Tribal Document
- Under 18 years of age may present a school, clinic, doctor, hospital, day care or nursery school record.
- Certified Articles of Incorporation, Government Issued Business License, Partnership Agreement, Representative Payee Documentation or a Trust Instrument.

Loan Application

This application is valid for the following loans: Signature Loans, New and Used Vehicle Loans, Holiday Loans, Collateral Loans and Share Secured Loans. Proof of income must be submitted with application. Spojnia Credit Union requires a pledge of $200.00 towards any loan and must be submitted with application. This application is not applicable for a Home Equity Loan. Contact Spojnia Credit Union for a Home Equity Loan Application.
Signature Loan: Print the attached loan application. Proof of income is required for applicant. (Co-applicant)
New and Used Vehicle Loans: Print the attached loan application. Proof of Income, Dealer purchase order (Bill of Sale) including purchase price, VIN, year, model, make and mileage of vehicle must be submitted with application. Proof of full coverage insurance and proof that Spojnia Credit Union is listed as loss payee are required.
Used Vehicle Loan: Purchased from an individual. Print the attached loan application. Proof of income, purchase price, VIN, year, model, make and mileage must be provided. Proof of full coverage insurance and proof that Spojnia Credit Union is listed as loss payee are required.
Holiday Loan: Print the attached loan application and return with proof of income.
Collateral Loan: Print the attached loan application and return with proof of income, title to vehicle and proof of full coverage insurance listing Spojnia Credit Union as loss payee.
Share Secured Loan: Print the attached loan application and return to credit union. A hold is put on the shares in your account.
Home Equity Loan: Contact the credit union for an application.

This is an internet based financial service offered to members of the credit union. This service is available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, providing the flexibility to take care of many financial transactions without visiting or calling the credit union. You can check balances, transfer funds, pay bills, and much more within the comfort of your own home.
Some of the services provided by home banking and bill payer contain personal financial information and require that you pre-register with the credit union to obtain a password specifically for this service. To access your account, you will need your user name and password. You will be asked to change your password the first time you use these services. The password you choose should be kept confidential and we recommend that you change your password regularly.
Spojnia Credit Union's Online Banking and Bill Payer is a service for our members. However, the privileges given under the service may be canceled at any time. The credit union reserves the right to refuse any transaction that would draw upon insufficient funds or lower an account below a required balance.
Print the enrollment form and return to Spojnia Credit Union. By printing and signing this application, you are adhering to the rules and regulations set forth by Spojnia Credit Union. You will receive information concerning this service with your user name and password.
Written Statement Under Penalty of Perjury
Spojnia Credit Union must obtain a written statement under penalty of perjury from its account holder prior to initiating a return for an entry the account holder claims is unauthorized, ineligible or improper. Regulation E provides the consumer protection for electronic transactions for a period of 60 days following the transmittal of the statement. Unauthorized debit refers to an electronic funds transfer (EFT) withdrawn from a consumer account by an entity not authorized in writing by the consumer. Form must be signed and dated. Download Form
